Himalayan Village, Sonapani
Is for people who like to be in their own
world on a holiday, in the lap of nature – literally and I mean it. Beautiful
resort in the middle of sonapani in district Nainital, spread over 20 acre of
land. Away from city, malls and the traffic noise. Situated at a height of 2000
meters the resort has thick forest cover all around and from the ridge has an
amazing view of the Himalayas. Surrounded by pine, rhodendron & oak forest.
Run and owned by a lovely family, with a team
of locals. Comfortable 12 independent cottages, very well maintained and clean.
No tv and telephone is a blessing in disguise. Great option with friends,
spouse or just if you want your own company.
To add to this experience there was a music
festival, beaming with young musician and artists. This just made the place
even more heavenly. And its didn't end there, it rained all night as we sang
till the early hours of the next day.
Must visit is my recommendation !!!
